Kite surfing is possible on Lake Idro, however it is not possible to start from the beach in front of the campsite. The starting point for kite surfers is located on the beach of Ponte Caffaro and can be reached by car (10 minutes) or via the cycle path (15 minutes by bike or 30 minutes on foot).
