Terms and conditions Camping Miralago
By booking your stay at Camping Miralago you agree to the following general terms and conditions:
Booking
Your booking has to respect the minimum duration (minimum stay) which is indicated on the website or communicated by email or phone and can be modified depending on the period and the requirements of the management. Your booking can be made through:
- Our booking system on our website (booking engine)
- Phone
- Directly at the reception of the campsite
The reservation is nominal, each is assigned a code and this is valid only for the number of persons specified in therein, which cannot be higher than the maximum capacity of the pitch or accommodation allocated in any case.
Once the company receives the reservation or the offer request for a stay, the company forwards, through the appropriate means of communication, the offer or the payment confirmation, in case of payment with credit card directly on the website, to the customer. The document contains the summary details valid for the reservation: the category of pitch/accommodation, the dates of arrival and departure, the number of people, the services included, the duration of the stay (excluding tourist tax) and the different ways to pay the deposit and/or the balance.
The booking contract is considered concluded and binds both parties upon confirmation of reservation and/or the payment of the deposit or a partial amount or the balance from the customer. The booking shall therefore only be accepted at the moment the payment of the deposit/balance specified in the quote is received. In any case, reports and requests from the customers, for example and not limited to, those related to the preference of location for the accommodation or the specific accommodation of the same category, do not have contract value and they can possibly be confirmed or not depending on the local availability.
Any reservation can be, even without agreement from the customer, modified, concerning the type of pitch/accommodation, giving the customer a free upgrade while maintaining the same conditions only regarding the number of people. Any customers booking stays with special offers through brochures, the website, mail, social media or any other form of communication considered appropriate, are subjected to certain conditions of booking and payment. The offers related to a price discount are not cumulative.
Choice of the pitch/the accommodation
Depending on availability, it is possible to choose the pitch/accommodation number, which can be entered in the notes section on our booking engine or communicated via email. Guests wishing to use this service will be charged
a one-off extra fee (choose your pitch) per pitch of:
- Season A: €10.00
- Season B & C: €50.00
- Season D: €90.00
It is also possible to get pitches next to each other or facing each other. Guests wishing to use this service (special request) will be charged a one-off extra fee per pitch of:
- Season A: €5.00
- Season B & C: €20.00
- Season C: €40.00
Method of payments
The reservation, as already mentioned above, is confirmed only upon payment of the amount communicated to the guest and in the terms established.
The specific arrangements are: payment of the deposit, normally around 35% of the total amount of the reservation plus extra costs. (For bookings of less than 4 nights, the full amount of the reservation will be required.) Subsequently the payment of the remaining balance will be required 51 days before the arrival date for the accomodations. For the pitches, payment of the balance can instead be made at the end of the stay at the reception. Payments can be done through:
- Bank transfer
- Credit card, through POS, virtual POS, e-commerce or any other appropriate solution.
- Cash, respecting the local laws in force, is only payable at the reception.
For "last minute" reservations or special offers, the guest may be allowed to pay the entire amount upon arrival at the reception or at the point of reservation itself.
Not observing the payment terms mentioned above represents the resolutive clause herewith expressed to confirm the immediate termination clause, plus possible compensation for further damages incurred by the campsite. Ultimately the failure to respect the payment terms shall result in the loss of the economic conditions and other conditions envisaged for this purpose.
If the management detects a difference in the rate due to an incorrect communication during the booking, the payment of the adjustment to the balance must be paid on arrival at the reception.
Check-in, stay and Check-out
The customer is obliged upon arrival to register at the reception and carry out all the formalities necessary for the allocation of the pitch/accommodation and those required by law.
The customer can check in online and is responsable according to the law for the data they provide during the procedure; such information must be correct and possibly updated in case of change. In any case, the customer is required to provide their identity card/passport at the reception for the formalities to be carried out with the state police.
Pitches: the arrival time is from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. while the departure time is from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Accommodations: the arrival time is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. while the departure time is from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
If the customer doesn't leave the pitch/accommodation by the time of check-out, the managment has the right to charge the daily rate according to the price list.
Any early check-in or late check-out is possible based on availability and is subject to extra costs.
If the customer doesn't arrive at the campsite before 6.00 p.m. on the specified day, without giving any notice of some delays in written form, the management reserves the right to cancel the reservation and reassign the pitch from 6.00 p.m. on the same day and the accommodation from 8.00 a.m. on the following day after the arrival date to third parties.
The quiet hours on the campsite are from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., but we would like to point out that the nearby restaurant may not be able to comply with these hours in exceptional cases.
Changes regarding reservation and withdrawal
We do not accept changes in terms of personal data, number of participants or ancillary services compared to what is indicated in the contract at the time of booking confirmation, unless they are communicated to the booking center within 1 day before the arrival date. The pitches/accommodations will therefore only be available to persons specified in the booking confirmation. The management of the campsite reserves the right not to provide the pitch/accommodation to those not complying with this rule.
The request to cancel confirmed reservations (in the status of deposit, partial amount paid or balance already paid), must be submitted in writing or through a specific online procedure.
The cancellation of reservations for the entire or partial stay is subject to precise cancellation terms and is summarized below:
Pitches:
- for cancellations within 60 days of arrival: 100% of the deposit paid will be refunded minus €15.00 for cancellation costs.
- for cancellations from 59 to 22 days before arrival: 50% of the paid deposit will be refunded minus €10.00 for cancellation costs.
- for cancellations from 21 days to the day of arrival or no show: 100% of the paid deposit will be retained.
In case of "no-show" and failure to communicate by the guest, the entire amount paid will be retained.
Accommodations:
- for cancellations within 61 days of arrival: 100% of the amount paid will be refunded minus €40.00 for cancellation costs.
- for cancellations from 60 to 51 days before arrival: 15% of the amount paid will be retained.
- for cancellations from 50 to 41 days before arrival: 30% of the amount paid will be retained.
- for cancellations from 40 to 21 days before arrival: 80% of the amount paid will be retained.
- for cancellaions from 20 days to the day of arrival or no show: the full amount paid will be retained.
For cases that require a refund of the deposit, the refund will be made by bank transfer within 30 working days of initiating the necessary cancellation procedure.
"No show" is considered the no-show of the customer at the reception by 6 p.m. on the specified day, unless otherwise agreed. This agreement must be made in written form! If the customer does not show up at the reception, without giving notice of any delays in written form, the management reserves the right to reassign the pitch or the accommodation from 6.15 p.m. on the arrival day.
Pitches:
In case of later arrival or early departure of 1 night, an amount equal to one night will be charged based on the price list in the season B, C and D.
In case of later arrival or early departure of 2 nights or more, an amount equal to two nights will be charged based on the price list in the season B, C and D.
Accommodations:
In case of later arrival or early departure, the total amount will be charged.
We recommend that future guests take out travel insurance that will cover the cost in case of a no-show!
Animals
Animals are welcome at our campsite. The customer undertakes to respect the specific rules of the campsite in terms of law and of the civic sense.
Customers must be in possession of the international animal health booklet and the EU passport for pets (veterinary certificate). The staff of the campsite have the right to request these documents upon arrival and in case of no-show, the management reserves the right not to allow the animal to access the campsite itself.
Spezific prices and conditions can be applied for any stay with animals, these are shown in the price list and in the internal regulations.
Taxes
The customer is required to pay the tourist tax at the time of payment of the reservation, or directly at the reception.
The accommodation rates shown in the price list are inclusive of VAT. If the tax changes with respect to today's rate of 10% and is higher, the difference can be paid directly at the reception.
Modification and withdraw on the part of the campsite
If the customer does not pay and/or the payment made is not credited within the deadline indicated in the booking, the management has the right to cancel the booking and withdraw from the contract without any extensions and without paying the customer any refund for alleged damages and/or penalties.
In the event of force majeure, unforeseen circumstances and/or a justified reason, even if the performance has become excessively burdensome due to the occurrence of extraordinary and unforseeable events, the management has the right to withdraw from the contract, in this case they must notify the customer by the date of the stay.
Otherwise, in case of unavailability of the service booked due to overbooking or for other reasons attributable to the campsite, the latter is obliged to offer its customers alternative replacement accommodation in its category equivalent or higher than what is booked, within the campsite itself or, possibly at another campsite, which belongs to a category at least equivalent to what is booked by the customer and which offers similar or superior services. The customer is free to withdraw from the contract if the solution presented does not meet their needs, and the management will reimburse the amount already paid by the customer, without applying any penality.
Obligation for the customer
The customers must be in possession of a valid identification document (identity card/pass) to be registered upon arrival at the campsite, as well as the Visa permit, health documentation and transit details if necessary, depending on the nationality of the customer.
Liability regime
The campsite is liable for any damage towards the customer due to failure partially or fully to perform contracted services, unless they can demonstrate the origin of the event from customer liability or as a result of circumstances beyond the provision of the services provided under the contract, due to an accident or force majeure, or due to circumstances that the management could not have forseen or resolved even with professional diligence.
Limit to compensation
The compensation from the campsite due to damages to the person is not higher than the limits provided for by the international agreements of which Italy and the European Union refer to in relation to services.
General conditions of reservation
With the confirmation of the offer, the customer accepts the conditions of the present reservation, the price list and is committed to respect the regulations of the campsite.
The management has the right to withdraw from the above-mentioned contract of services if the subscriber, family or their guests do not respect the existing rules.
Certain special initiatives (last minute, special offers, etc.) carried out since the publishing date of the price list result from a bargaining of services with the providers and cannot have retroactive value, as subjected to limited availability. The offers are not cumulative.
The images used for the description of the products and the services are approximate and can also not represent the campsite fully in some cases. The images of the accommodations may differ from reality in terms of positioning.
